Mango is my rescue greyhound of thirteen years. On 14 July we rushed to Detroit Animal Hospital with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,000. They have stabilized Mango, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Mango is more than a pet - Mango walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $350 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Detroit Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
