Bellevue
Ginger is my three-legged dog of six years. On 5 September we rushed to the Bellevue Emergency Vet Clinic with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,450. They have stabilized Ginger, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Ginger is more than a pet - Ginger is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $165 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Bellevue Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $2,450 goes: • Emergency surgery: $1,550 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $360 • Medication and follow-up visits: $280 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $260 I hope life is good to you. - Cooper

Updates from Cooper

  1. Small update. $500 so far, we've started the first stage.

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($275 in total) I made the first payment toward emergency surgery. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  3. Thank you all. We're at 7% now ($170). I'm honestly stunned. we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. - Cooper
