Help Consuelo replace the rear axle and return to work
Consuelo drives for a living in Minneapolis, and a broken rear axle has stopped all income for 7 weeks.
🇺🇸 Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States3,066 views
I make my living with my ride-share car. 7 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $2,000. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $1,300
• Labor charges: $370
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $160
• Towing and inspection: $170
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

hope it all works out, Consuelo. I hope things turn around soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. After 25 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything!
Take care, Consuelo. Hope you get there!
