The gas account is 4 months behind. Công received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless $150 is paid. He had never been late before an unexpected car repair.
Công called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a newborn, and going through summer without gas isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Công is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
