Simba is my tabby kitten of six years. On 27 December we rushed to the Baton Rouge Emergency Vet Clinic with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,400.
They have stabilized Simba, but the treatment can't wait beyond April.
Simba is more than a pet - Simba got me through my hardest year. I have already put $380 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Baton Rouge Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,400 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,600
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $280
• Medication and follow-up visits: $260
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $260
