Colm was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in August. The surgeon at Galway Community Hospital recommended palate reconstruction surgery, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $6,250, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $3,700 short.
my brother has been in and out of Galway Community Hospital since August. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without palate reconstruction surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $6,250 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Colm struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.

Hope it all works out, Eileen. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
