Help Claudia replace the transmission and return to work
Claudia's my delivery van is Claudia's only source of income and needs a transmission replacement costing $350.

I make my living with my delivery van. 5 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 4 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $350 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $140
• Labor charges: $115
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $50
• Towing and inspection: $45
Thanks for being kind about this.

Sending good thoughts, Claudia. Hope the shop reopens soon. Thinking of Tlaquepaque.
