Help Claire keep the Open Hands Pantry pantry stocked
Help keep a free food pantry open for families and seniors in Marseille.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Open Hands Pantry every Saturday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 13 families, and now we feed 257 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 38% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 7 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Marseille market and keep every receipt.
Each $45 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $240
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $980
• Baby formula and diapers: $380
Glad we found this place.

Hope things get better soon. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We're a small family in Pune but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Marseille.
