Help Ciara replace the fuel pump and return to work
Ciara's my taxi is Ciara's only source of income and needs a fuel pump replacement costing $1,750.

I make my living with my taxi. 8 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,750. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $1,200
• Labor charges: $340
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $125
• Towing and inspection: $85
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
Updates from Ciara
Good news. Because of your gifts ($840 in total) I made the first payment toward labor charges. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

thinking of you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Ikeja!
Hope it all works out. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from Rochester
Hope this works out for you. After 18 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Kilkenny.
