Help Christina through 10 rounds of treatment for stage 2 breast cancer
10 rounds of treatment are planned at Berlin Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.
🇩🇪 Berlin, Germany759 views
Christina was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in August. The oncology team at Berlin Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Christina is 25, worked as a tailor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Berlin Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $5,400 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,100
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,000
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $370
• Transport to Berlin Cancer Centre: $930
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

sending good thoughts, Klaus. It takes guts to ask. Well done. It's not much but it's yours
Good luck, Klaus. Hope the doctors have good news. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Berlin.
Take care, Klaus. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
