Mango is my rescue greyhound of two years. On 5 August we rushed to Hamilton Animal Hospital with pyometra. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,600. They have stabilized Mango, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Mango is more than a pet - Mango is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $330 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Hamilton Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
