Help Chloé keep the Open Hands Pantry pantry stocked
The Open Hands Pantry pantry in Paris is running low just as demand rises; $3,200 will stock it for 10 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Open Hands Pantry every Thursday from the back of a community center. We started with 8 families, and now we feed 392 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 40% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 19 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Paris market and keep every receipt.
Each $20 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $3,200 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,600
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $790
• Baby formula and diapers: $530
• Refrigeration and electricity: $280
