Help Chiamaka replace the transmission and return to work
Chiamaka drives for a living in Zaria, and a broken transmission has stopped all income for 3 weeks.

I make my living with my food truck. 3 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $200 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $105
• Labor charges: $45
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $30
• Towing and inspection: $20
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Zaria
