Help Charlotte restart a small grocery stall in Gold Coast after a fire in the building
A small grocery stall in Gold Coast needs help replacing a cold-storage unit after a fire in the building.

For four years I have run a small grocery stall in Gold Coast. In August, a fire in the building took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $4,200 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $310
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $3,350
• Working capital for the first month: $540
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
Updates from Charlotte
Thank you all. We're at 35% now ($1,464). I'm honestly stunned. we've started the first stage.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($554 in total) the first invoice got paid this week. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

wishing you peace. It takes guts to ask. Well done. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best.

Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless!
I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Greetings from Cox's Bazar
