Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Wednesday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 14 families, and now we feed 160 each week. Donations have dropped by about 50% this winter, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Allentown market and keep every receipt. Each $45 feeds a family of four for a week. I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday. Where the $3,650 goes: • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,850 • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $830 • Baby formula and diapers: $560 • Refrigeration and electricity: $410 Thank you for reading my story.

  • Gave what I could, wish it was more. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Addis Ababa

Thinking of you and your family, Charles. More neighborhoods should do this. Love from Los Angeles

      • Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Put this on a community board in Nnewi this morning.

        • Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Columbus so I could bring a meal. God bless.
