Help Catalin replace the gearbox and return to work
Catalin's my tuk-tuk is Catalin's only source of income and needs a gearbox replacement costing $300.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 8 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $300 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $160
• Labor charges: $55
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $45
• Towing and inspection: $40
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
Updates from Catalin
Thank you all. We're at 26% now ($77). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for towing and inspection is now scheduled.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 21% funded and I made the first payment toward gearbox replacement.
