Help Carmen pay for spinal decompression surgery at Celaya Community Hospital
After a torn ligament that needs reconstruction, Carmen was cleared for spinal decompression surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Carmen was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in June. The surgeon at Celaya Community Hospital recommended spinal decompression surgery, and She is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $4,700, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $2,350 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Celaya Community Hospital since June. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without spinal decompression surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $4,700 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Carmen struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Carmen won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $2,350 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $820
• Hospital stay (5 nights): $1,000
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $155
• Post-operative medication: $45
• Physiotherapy sessions: $220
• Travel and lodging for the family: $110

Hope things get better soon, Cristina. Shared it with a few friends. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
Thinking of you and your family, Cristina. Hope the doctors have good news.
Hope things get better soon. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Love from Granada.
Wishing you the best. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. After 11 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless
