Carmen runs a volunteer pantry feeding 368 families; this fund restocks shelves for the rainy season.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Tuesday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 22 families, and now we feed 368 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 51% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Santa Fe market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $600 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $190
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $370
• Refrigeration and electricity: $40
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
