Help Carlos replace the rear axle and return to work
Without my tuk-tuk Carlos can't work; a $1,050 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 10 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,050. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $670
• Labor charges: $220
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $105
• Towing and inspection: $55
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
