Candra is one term away from finishing an electrical engineering diploma but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $800.

Candra is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Jakarta University, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $800.
The registrar has said Candra can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Candra has a 3.9 average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Candra would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Candra isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Jakarta University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $800 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $35
• Outstanding tuition balance: $320
• Final term tuition: $445
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
