Cameron was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in July. The surgeon at Coventry Community Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and He is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $15,750, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $7,850 short.
my husband has been in and out of Coventry Community Hospital since July. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $15,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Cameron struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Cameron won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
