Help Byaruhanga start the school year with the right tools
Byaruhanga earned a place in Grade 9 at Mukono Girls' High School; we're $50 short on required supplies.

I earned a place in Grade 9 at Mukono Girls' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $50, which is more than we have.
I love biology and want to become a marine biologist. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $50 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $35
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10
• School uniform and shoes: $5
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Your post was clear and honest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Seongnam

Hang in there, Byaruhanga. Study hard! All the best.
You're not alone. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I hope November is when things finally get easier.
Wishing you the best. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Blessings
