Los Angeles

Brooks earned a place in Year 11 at Los Angeles Boys' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $950, which is more than they have. Brooks loves graphic design and wants to become a marine biologist. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. He will take care of everything given and works very hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $950 goes: • Laptop: $560 • School uniform and shoes: $155 • Textbooks and workbooks: $130 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $105 Thanks for being kind about this. - Derek

Updates from Derek

43% there. I made the first payment toward calculator, stationery and a school bag. Thank you.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($47 in total) the plan for school uniform and shoes is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely. - Derek
