Help Brooklyn replace the rear axle and return to work
Brooklyn's my pickup is Brooklyn's only source of income and needs a rear axle replacement costing $1,300.

I make my living with my pickup. 10 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $630
• Labor charges: $220
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $340
• Towing and inspection: $110
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
