Help Brooklyn replace the engine head gasket and return to work

Brooklyn drives for a living in Bakersfield, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 4 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 4 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,100. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 1 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $1,100 goes: • engine head gasket replacement (parts): $800 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $135 • Labor charges: $165 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
