Help Blessing start the school year with the right tools
Blessing won a place at the Lagos Selective School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria943 views
Blessing earned a place in the first year of senior school at the Lagos Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $110, which is more than they have.
Blessing loves chemistry and wants to become a marine biologist. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $110 goes:
• Laptop: $55
• School uniform and shoes: $30
• Textbooks and workbooks: $20
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
Thank you so much.

Hope it all works out. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best.
Praying for you, Seyi. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Blessings.
