Help Blessing afford 16 counseling sessions
A course of EMDR therapy for Blessing could change everything; the cost is $200.
🇳🇬 Nigeria894 views
After bullying at school, Blessing has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred her to EMDR therapy, but the public waiting list is 11 months, and private sessions at a private practice in Asaba cost $10 each.
Blessing has been honest with her employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Blessing could afford. The therapist recommends 16 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Blessing, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment.
The money will be paid directly to the counselor's practice, with a session-by-session record.
Where the $200 goes:
• 16 therapy sessions: $115
• Psychiatric assessment: $50
• Workbook and resources: $35
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
