Help Bimala replace the gearbox and return to work

Bimala drives for a living in Kathmandu, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 5 weeks.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 5 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $205. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $205 goes: • Road tax and insurance renewal: $25 • gearbox replacement (parts): $175 • Labor charges: $5 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
