Hazel is my rescue greyhound of eleven years. On 1 September we rushed to New Delhi Animal Hospital with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $400. They have stabilized Hazel, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Hazel is more than a pet - Hazel is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $30 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to New Delhi Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
