Help Bernd save Ziggy - surgery needed
Ziggy, Bernd's dog, needs urgent treatment for kidney failure costing $1,850.

Ziggy is my dog of three years. On 30 October we rushed to the Munich Emergency Vet Clinic with kidney failure. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,850.
They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond January.
Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $90 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Munich Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,850 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $900
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $480
• Medication and follow-up visits: $270
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $200

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. emergency surgery comes first ($900) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Good question.
