A first-generation student, Bernd needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an agriculture degree.

Bernd is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an agriculture degree at Berlin Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,600.
The registrar has said Bernd can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Bernd has a 3.6 average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Bernd would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Bernd isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Berlin Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $170
• Exam and lab fees: $115
• Final term tuition: $1,315
