Help Bennett keep the the Second Helping pantry stocked
Bennett runs a volunteer pantry feeding 282 families; this fund restocks shelves for the rainy season.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run the Second Helping every Friday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 17 families, and now we feed 282 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 42% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 9 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Sydney market and keep every receipt.
Each $45 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $950
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $840
• Baby formula and diapers: $250
• Refrigeration and electricity: $160
Thank you so much.

Wishing you peace, Bennett. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
