Help Benjamin keep the the Thursday Table pantry stocked
The the Thursday Table pantry in San Jose is running low just as demand rises; $2,700 will stock it for 8 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Monday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 24 families, and now we feed 109 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 36% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the San Jose market and keep every receipt.
Each $45 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $940
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,000
• Baby formula and diapers: $520
• Refrigeration and electricity: $240
