Help Beatrix save Luna - surgery needed
Luna, Beatrix's three-legged dog, needs urgent treatment for a broken leg after a road accident costing $550.

Luna is my three-legged dog of thirteen years. On 8 April we rushed to Cape Town Animal Hospital with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $550.
They have stabilized Luna, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Luna is more than a pet - Luna is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $80 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Cape Town Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Luna's recovery.
Where the $550 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $320
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $110
• Medication and follow-up visits: $55
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $65
