Help Beatrice start the school year with the right tools
Beatrice earned a place in Year 10 at Dar es Salaam International School; we're $100 short on required supplies.

I earned a place in Year 10 at Dar es Salaam International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $100, which is more than we have.
I love coding and want to become an architect. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $100 goes:
• Laptop: $45
• School uniform and shoes: $15
• Textbooks and workbooks: $30
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Thanks for sharing this, Beatrice. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Beatrice!
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. laptop is the biggest at $45. Good question.
you're not alone, Beatrice. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care
Study hard! Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. God bless
