Poppy is my rabbit of three years. On 6 September we rushed to the Amsterdam Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,400. They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $120 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Amsterdam Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $1,400 goes: • Emergency surgery: $610 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $500 • Medication and follow-up visits: $290 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
