Bappy is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Mysuru University, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $800. The registrar has said Bappy can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Bappy has a 3.6 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Bappy would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Bappy isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $800 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $380 • Final term tuition: $360 • Exam and lab fees: $30 • Textbooks and materials: $30 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Babu
