Afshan, my sister, passed away on 18 December after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 33 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $450 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 4 January. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Afshan to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $450 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $310 • Memorial gathering for the family: $25 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $115 Thank you for reading my story.
