Ayaan is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an agriculture degree at the Mumbai Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650. The registrar has said Ayaan can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Ayaan has a 3.6 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Ayaan would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Ayaan isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
