Help Awino keep the the Thursday Table pantry stocked
Awino runs a volunteer pantry feeding 257 families; this fund restocks shelves for the harvest gap.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Saturday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 14 families, and now we feed 257 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 35% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 15 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Kampala market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $350 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $230
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $55
• Baby formula and diapers: $40
• Refrigeration and electricity: $25
Every share and every dollar helps.

Wishing you peace, Awino. This could happen to any of us. My neighbor in Taguig donated after I showed her your page.
