Help Aurora save Pepper - surgery needed
A dog named Pepper needs orthopedic surgery - a $2,700 bill the family can't cover.

Pepper is my dog of nine years. On 13 August we rushed to Louisville Animal Hospital with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $2,700.
They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper got me through my hardest year. I have already put $210 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Louisville Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Pepper's recovery.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,750
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $480
• Medication and follow-up visits: $145
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $325
