Audrey was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in July. The oncology team at Aurora Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Audrey is 30, worked as a hairdresser until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Aurora Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
