Help Ashok save Buddy - surgery needed

Buddy is my rabbit of six years. On 12 December we rushed to the Sacramento Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,200. They have stabilized Buddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond March. Buddy is more than a pet - Buddy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $310 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Sacramento Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
