Help Ashok keep the Bread & Beans Kitchen pantry stocked

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Wednesday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 30 families, and now we feed 298 each week. Donations have dropped by about 53% this summer, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 15 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Mumbai market and keep every receipt. Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week. I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday. Where the $200 goes: • Refrigeration and electricity: $25 • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $130 • Baby formula and diapers: $45 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Ashok
