Asher was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in June. The oncology team at the Bellevue Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Asher is 41, worked as a bus conductor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Bellevue Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $4,250 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $430 • Scans and lab work: $1,600 • Household costs while unable to work: $2,220 Every share and every dollar helps.
