After an aortic valve defect, Asher was cleared for laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Asher was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in February. The surgeon at Newcastle University Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and He is scheduled for May. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $5,500, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $2,800 short.
my husband has been in and out of Newcastle University Hospital since February. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $5,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Asher struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Asher won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
