Help Arda keep the Community Pantry pantry stocked
The Community Pantry pantry in Üsküdar is running low just as demand rises; $600 will stock it for 6 weeks.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Tuesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 30 families, and now we feed 393 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 41% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Üsküdar market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $600 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $280
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $130
• Baby formula and diapers: $75
• Refrigeration and electricity: $115
I hope life is good to you.

Wishing you the best. More neighborhoods should do this. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money
Best of luck. More neighborhoods should do this. After 15 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything
Sending love, Arda. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
