Maple is my rabbit of six years. On 27 June we rushed to Kota Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $350. They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond September. Maple is more than a pet - Maple is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $50 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Kota Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Maple's recovery.
