Help Antônia keep the Neighbors' Pantry pantry stocked
The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Belém is running low just as demand rises; $500 will stock it for 12 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Thursday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 24 families, and now we feed 295 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 48% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 9 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Belém market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $500 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $350
• Baby formula and diapers: $100
• Refrigeration and electricity: $50
