Anthony is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at Sydney University, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,650. The registrar has said Anthony can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Anthony has a top-ten-percent average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Anthony would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Anthony isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $4,650 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $1,300 • Final term tuition: $3,000 • Exam and lab fees: $240 • Textbooks and materials: $110 I hope life is good to you.

Praying for you. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Anthony!

Outstanding tuition balance is $1,300 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page.
